Nicely done video. I have tried this in the past. It works as the video demonstrates. What I did not like was the use of steel BBs. Gotta make sure that your gun barrel can tolerate steel.

Good grief! What a lot of work to do what could have been done with the shell......H and R made a ML shotgun on the single shot action that was a lot slicker than this. Had a breechplug where the shell goes, loaded from the front and the plug had a nipple for a cap.
My problem with this process is he is loading loose powder down into the original chamber which is plugged only with the brass shell head. I'm uncomfortable with the steel bbs also.
You could get better performance and safer results by getting an old Lee loader and loading the complete shell with black or pyrodex.

Well the point of the video is that it can be done.....not that it should be done. In later videos someone suggests the brass shells available from magtech and Dave does a video reloading them with black.

That said, I too cringed at the use of steel buckshot.

He did that video to show that in certain situations that option is available if shells cannot be found or the empty hulls you have are worn out.

Really liked the video where they were using the heads off strike anywhere matches for powder.
