If you shoot a 12 guage with 7/8-1-1 1/8 or 1 1/4 ounce loads and you shoot a 20 guage with 7/8-1-1 1/8 ounce 2 3/4" loads or 3" 1 1/4 ounce loads I really would like to know how the 12 guage will "Kick" you harder than the 20 guage which will generally weigh less than the 12 guage gun?
If someone insists on shooting 3" magnum 12 guage loads from a single shot they deserve to suffer!
I have single shots in 12 guage and .410 and both are excellent.
What a 20 guage does offer is a gun that can do what the .410 and 12 guage guns can do without the specialization & in a single gun.
