Here's a holster that I just finished up for a Ruger Single Six. Crossdraw and works perfectly to not bang up the stock of my rifle when walking the woods.
Pretty. I need to get a decent pic of my Christmas present, tooled western drop leg rig for my 9” Blued SS. Only thing I didn’t get (should have in retrospect) was a pouch for the spare cylinder.
Thanks, 1K. It's my favorite pattern to do also. Basketweave just gets so "old" and boring and I enjoy livening things up a bit.
That pattern looks gorgeous in red/black.

Nice, clean looking holster! I like the way the trigger guard is enclosed and the quality (really like the different pattern you use), and craftsmanship are first rate.

Thank you, sir!
Most folks say that enclosing the trigger guard of a single action revolver is not necessary - and I agree. But it's MY personal holster and that's the way I like 'em. Plus, it aids a bit with retention; therefore, a safety strap in not really required, though I'd probably recommend one just to be safe.
I like your Single Six design mainly because most of the gun is well protected and secure without having to resort to having a cover flap or a safety strap.
