Size Difference Between USP 9MM vs. USP 45ACP?

I've always wanted a USP, and plan to make this my next purchase. At the local shop I was able to handle a USP in .45ACP, and was surprised that it wasn't as large as I thought it would be. Though I admit it was at the end of comfort and handling ergonomics.

I read a comment on HKPRO that the USP45 model has a longer slide and taller grip, but everything else is comprable to the USP9 (or USP40).

Can anybody confirm this or let me know what their thoughts are between the size of these models?

The .45s are a little bit bigger. I don't remember by how much. There are slightly less holsters available for the .45 than the .40/9mm USPs.
