Was recently at my local dealer and realized I did not have a .22 handgun in my collection. I paid the good guy price too (not the one listed)

I was going to buy a Keltec PMR 30, but the prices are still way above MSRP. My dealer also had a nice 100 box of good CCI 22 ammo behind the counter...picked it up for 9.00 bucks.
 
Nice. I love the way those little guys feel in the hand. I've been meaning to get one for years.
 
Use the white recoil spring in the box! I broke mine in with about 500 CCI mini mags and now it will run OK with bulk pack ammo. I keep the slide rails greased and run it pretty wet with oil.
 
There was no white spring in the box, but there was an extra spring in a baggy. The dealer did tell me that these are finnicky with ammo (they like the hotter loads), so I bought some CCI while I was there.
 
I've heard the new ones are better. I really want one, but others always seem to be ahead of this little gem.

Anyone with a 226/229 to compare size and function wise?
 
Almost got one for daughter a few years ago but she liked the feel and balance of the Beretta Neos better. Tempted to get a Mosquito for myself to go with my P-229.
