SKS reloading tips

On an original 10rnd mag reloaded with stripper clips, are there some tips to make it easier or more precise in reloading quickly? I'm thinking there must have been some tricks to reloading the SKS in standing, kneeling, etc on the battlefield with those stripper clips; they seem kind of flimsy for reliable speed-loading.

I've always found the stripper clips easy to use just by pushing down with my thumb.

Push at the base of the cartridge so that your thumb is sliding along the clip.

If you push near the bullet, they will bind and not slide out as quickly.

Practice, practice, practice.

The previous 2 posters have it right...press near the stripper clip itself, not out on the bullet end. I have found that a very light 'lift' on the bullet end helps.

I can ALMOST reload my SKS as fast as my M1 Garand with the 8-round en-bloc clips. not quite as fast, but close.
