Hey folks, I've got a set of Tech Sights on my SKS, and while it has improved my accuracy, I'm just not comfortable with them.
The main issue I'm having is that the SKS front sight hood is interfering with my sight picture. My brain kind of wants to line up the circle of the front post hood with the circle of the rear sight aperture.... but I fight that desire and put the tip of thin target sight blade in the center. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any reason for me not to adjust the site so that I can aim by lining up the circles?
Another thing is that the aperture is little bit small for my taste... it makes seeing in anything close to low light very difficult. I also can't really see the bright orange dot I painted on my front site tip. Has anyone drilled one of these out before? I don't think Tech Sight sells bigger apertures...
