slightly confused (again)

i was looking for a different pistol, and ran across an add for a 10mm EEA (or is it EAA). anyway. i started looking at ammo, and it seemed a little pricey. so then i went to look for brass (i reload), and in the brass section, they have 10mm auto, and 10mm magnum. i thought that there was only the 10 mm magnum. but the last time i looked at a 10mm was back before the mienium change. is there two different rounds, or have they just dropped the magnum name and called it the 10 auto?

I recall a "10mm Magnum" cartridge in the early 90s. If memory serves it was chambered in one model of an AMT pistol with the "Auto Mag" name on it. But I think this is more a case (pun intended) of mislabeling.

i was with a buddy that bought a colt delt elite in 10mm magnum way back then. so that is where i came into my very limited knowledge about them.now, it is something i am considering, but i need to know if these two are the same, or if the 100 magnum has gone by the wayside. i am looking for something to play a dual role, in which hunting is one. but if the 10mm auto is just a glorified 40 s&w that makes no sence.
