sling for benelli M2

I like to sling my Benelli M2 for turkey hunting. However, the forward sing attachment point is on the end of the barrel nut. A nylon sling with QD swivels fits fine, but doesn't carry fine. When shouldered, every motion of the gun creates a grating noise, which sounds like a soon to be scarred-up nut in the making.
What do you guys like to use on your M2's for a sling and swivels?
