I've used 3 of the claw style slings in my life and no others. I think the claw is what they are called. They are the stuff that grips to your clothes fairly well. Anyway, I loved them at first however, now I've had a problem with every gun they have been on. That problem is that it seems like after a few months of use I notice the sling studs will now be loose in the gun. If you tighten them all the way up the sling studs are no longer straight. So you will have the holes not straight so the slings will have to hook on and the hooks wont be straight and look funny. Has anyone else had this issue? On all the guns the studs seemed tight and had the holes right where they should be on each side even before using slings. Is this a common problem with slings or what's the deal?

I have never had too much trouble with studs, but make sure they are very secure from the start. I would try a thin matching (black or stainless) washer to slightly shim the stud, or slightly countersink the stud (using drill) and reinstall. I would also add a little wood glue to the threads to make sure tat you don't have a repeat event.
