Does anyone know of a current production .22LR/20 gauge over/under gun? I've checked Savage, Marlin, and Rossi. Not sure of who else would make one. I've found several with interchangable barrels, but that's more of a pain than I'm looking for. I'm looking for squirrel hunting with a dog where I can use the .22 when they've got a good backstop in the tree trunk and the 20 gauge when they tree on a limb in the open.

Good used Savage 24's show up on the online gun auction sites all the time.
You might try that.

If it's a Savage 24 you want, look for an older pre-safety gun. They had a higher build quality and are about 1/2 pound lighter than the newer push-saftety guns. FYI: older 20 gauge frame-size guns weigh about 6 1/2 pounds, 1 1/2 pounds lighter than the 12 gauge frame-size guns.

So nothing in current production huh? Oh well... I have nothing against used gun and nothing but love for Savages, so I guess that's what I'll look for.

Pretty sure EAA still imports one from Biakal. I'd go with a used Savage 24 though. Mine is the .22lr/20.
