I have been using the Smartcarry for about a month now. I do not claim it is the "best" system. However, I am completely surprized that NOBODY has noticed.

My wife - Not a clue. Some cynics might point out that my wife would be the last person to stare at my crotch. Well, I have two kids and a normal love life. I just thought, if anyone would bust me, she would.

Coworkers - I work in a small office. My company president and coworkers signed my CCW reference letters. I am the known RKBA supporter. They have no clue. They even asked if I was going to "start packing" while I was already every day. I said maybe.

The thing does conceal well.

Okay, I keep reading the good press for this thing but I have to ask--how do you sit down without messin' up your "package?" I mean, seems like the barrel would be pressing on everything down there. Looks very uncomfortable to me.

It is a little uncomfortable sitting. The best position I have found is to have the gun a little off center. It is tolerable.

I know we've hammered this subject on other threads but I'll still say, despite the fact that the sitting aspect I still have to refine and get used to ... is, for the extreme depth of concealment .... a small price to pay IMO.

My use is very intermittent but .. on those odd occasions when ''deep'' .... means ''DEEP'' then it is the dog's dangly bits!

I just told my wife about it last night. She was pretty surprized that I had been carrying for 30 days like this without her knowing. She asked, "What other secrets do you have?". Unfortunately, I did not have any others. I lead a pretty dull life.

Just wondering if it would work for us old guys with the 'furnature disease'? You know, where our 'chest' has sunk into our 'drawers'!!

Dave,
I come here for information and to learn form other folks experience. I appreciate the information.

I have to ask though, how many threads with the same basic subject do you intend to start?
