Smith 4506 holster questions

I've found several holsters that I like for the 4506-1, but my gun is the original 4506 (no dash) model. The chief difference is the re-design of the trigger guard. Will a holster for the -1 fit the original?

Specifically, I'm looking at a Safariland 070

It might, but it'll be loose.

The triggerguard was one difference, but also the slide and frame on the 'dash one' are thicker.

By the way, the "original" was the 645, not the 4506
