While at the range today I felt like the reset on my pistol was not as positive as it has been in the past. The trigger was resetting fine but it was not "clicking" and pushing forward like I was used to. Therefore I field stripped it and noticed a little allen wrench screw that the trigger "lever" sat on top of.

I stupidly started messing with that screw and now trigger is way out of place. It got pushed way forward in a very loose manner. After playing with it for like two hours, I'm pretty sure the trigger mechanism is assembled correctly but the hammer will now not stay in the cocked position when I pull it back manually or with the slide. Also, the magazine is very difficult to insert and remove.

The only way the hammer will stay cocked is if the aforementioned allen screw is screwed all the way down. In that scenario, the trigger has a very long double action feel. I noticed that it the hammer will fall even without the magazine which should not happen due to the magazine safety.

Does anyone have a diagram or can someone post pictures of what your trigger mechanism looks like to see if mine matches? I'm all out of ideas at this point.

Hammer will not cock in this position but I think it is assembled correctly here:
