Just finished reading an article in Shooting Times about the new 2.5" Model 357 in the black Night Guard finish. I'm not a snubby guy, but this gun has some strong appeal loaded with the 175 gr Winchester silvertips or some of the lower powered 41 mag loadings. The author, Joel Hutchcroft said "it is very comfortable to shoot with 175-grain ammo ... but.... not so pleasant with with full power 210- and 250-grain loads..." Does any one have any experience with the revolver yet? I know the 4" packs quite a kick with regular loads.

A snubby in 41 mag has a certain appeal to me. Any thoughts?

I've got one in .44 special. The Nightguards have steel cylinders, so they are easier to shoot than the all scandium/titanium guns. I wish they made it in four inch.
