It wasn’t the Bangor-Punta guns that had so many problems, it was the Lear-Siglar guns that had cost cutter, short cuts that caused so many problems. Such as the internal gas rings on the yokes.

The older the better. The 60s and 70s vintage guns were good but they don’t hold a candle to the fit and finish of the old five screw revolvers. Those were made by experts that basically hand fit everything. I was born 25 years too late to really capitalize on the five screw guns. Still like the ones I have.
