I am a new member from Colorado, I have had the following for several years and would like some info as to age and possible value.
S&W Model 57 41 mag 4 in. Ser # N6168XX. Your help would be appreciated, due to unforseen circumstances I just can't keep all my firearms.

Your 57 was probably made in 1980. The 4" is the most sought after barrel length. Value will depend on many factors such as condition, presence of box and accessories, region where offered, etc.

Assuming very nice but not perfect condition I would guess you could get around $600 +/- for the gun. Add $75 if it's in the wooden box. Maybe $750 or so if the gun looks new.

But these are just my guesses.

not sure about the age but on gunbroker they are going for upwards of $1K for NIB and some slightly used.

That's probably the best place to get an idea of the value. do a search on completed auctions and see what people are paying...
