Does anyone have any experience with "Smoke Grenades" ? Any paintballers here? On Firequest they have several generators and a smoke signalling device. The cheap ones are fuse lit, they have 30 sec, 60 sec, and 3 minute generators that have white smoke i think. there are ones that i want to get but a little pricey, they look like grenades where you pull the pin and then throw it, those are 35 sec discharge, in white and red. then they have "smoke signaling" cans, that you pull the top off with a chain and it disperses an orange smoke, does anyone know if these signal smokes can cover an area like the other generators? it doesnt say on the catalog.
What i would like is smoke to cover an area and create no visibility through the screen. are the fuse lit generators a good buy ($12 for the 3 min ), or should i get the grenade style generators ($40 for 35 sec)? if the smoke signals can do as well as these, then i would probably go with that ($25 for set of two, 45 sec burn). if there is anyone that has experience with this stuff, please tell what you would do, as far as getting a smoke generator. thank you.
