I have an M-1 carbine (original) by Rock-Ola company dated 1942(I've been told) no date on the rifle. Top hand guard was replaced with wooden guard because what came with it was a medal one. It has not been through an armory for refit. Has fixed rear sight, flat top bolt, RMC stamped in sling slot on butt stock. Bolt has Rock-Ola stamped on it's side, non checkered magazine release, original military sling and oiler, no bayonet lug, fantastic riflings, original stock finish, Rock-Ola stamped on reciever where screw is located and a book in plastic cover on how to speak french dated 1944, for the Normandy Invation. Given to troops aboard ships prior to the landing. Barrel and reciever have great matte finish. Absolutly no rust anywhere. What would it possable be worth to a WW-II weapons collector. Ball park figure if possable. Thanks
