Snapsafe?

Does anyone have a snapsafe or know someone who does? I would like a larger safe but my basement stairs couldn't stand a 1600lb safe being slid down them. There doesn't seem to be much out there for reviews and whatnot, so how do you guys feel about the construction/finish on these safes?

If I was in the market for a modular safe I would probably sign up for the wait and buy the original one that has been copied by a few, but not duplicated.

I had my eye on Snapsafe while I was still in the military. A relatively lightweight safe is a very appealing option when you move around every few years. Never bought one though.

Yes, I have one. Nothing wrong with it, but as with most decisions, it's a compromise. Modular safes in general are a significant compromise. Size, weight, security, transportability, and fireproofing are all factors that only you can decide upon.

For modular safes I would also give serious consideration to Zanotti's products.
