I bought my first XDs last month, and picked them up early this month. I shot both for the first time on Tuesday evening. Both shot extraordinarily well.

Anyway, I took photos of them this evening. These are my first firearm photos of 2007. Enjoy!

First, the XD9 Subcompact with OD frame and Pearce magazine extensions:

Next, here are my XD45 Compact (four-inch version in all-black configuration) photos:

Dr Lunde,

Your analysis of the SA vs your Glocks, please.

Thanks for the great pictures.

I can't wait until I turn 21 so I can pick up and XD9! I love them!

Can you go ahead and tell me something... is the compact small enough to conceal compared to the sub compact? Because you are lucky enough to own both. :neener:

Nice shots!

Personal note, I'm always funny about showing the serial numbers of my firearms online. Probably I'm just paranoid but I thought I'd mention it in case you decided to blur them out.

great pics and great choices of handguns i love my 2 xd's and i am very much in love with my sc, they are just so sweet!

Your analysis of the SA vs your Glocks, please.

i can do this as well for you to if you would like. which i have done on many occasions.

Wow. Very nice pictures. I wish I could take pictures that turn out like that.

Great pics! You must have an awesome camera. I've wanted an XD 9mm Compact for some time now. However when I've handled them at gun shows they've seemed "top heavy" to me (polymer frame). I can only assume that evens out when you have a loaded mag. What has been your experience?

Ah.....finally you post pictures of a gun I am immune to. Usually, your photos make me want to go out and buy the gun in question.:D

As usual, your photos are exceptional.

As always, superb shots to add to your collection, Ken.

For those of you who have never visited Lunde's Pistol Wallpaper page, do so right now, but put your drool bib on first. And be prepared to smile.

Some day Dr. Lunde, you should offer some photo's of your camera equipment used to capture the photograph's of your pistola's or maybe a class or two on the tactical use of Adobe's software along with quality digital camera equipment.

Thanks for sharing.
