what are people's opinions on the Sneaky Pete products?

It just looks like a non-descript generic holder - maybe for a phone or digital device, attached to your belt.

To me it seems like it could be the best of both OC & CC in that it's more comfortable than a IWB - especially getting in and out of the car.

If this has been discussed before - I'm sorry. When I searched, all I could find was stuff by Sneaky Potato.

Unless it is the size of a smartphone case it isn't quite as invisible as they want to imply.

If it is close enough to blend in then I don't see a problem.

^ Well I guess that depends on the gun.

I guess I was thinking of one for the Rohrbaugh R9 or the Kahr PM9/CM9.

I think the model they show the most on their site is for the LCP.

Ohhh, I'm thinking P3AT also.

I dropped my P3AT into my factory BlackBerry case and the grip stick out to the side 20%. That would make a holder just a tad wide for a pocket pistol like mine. I'd still like to try them out to see since I'm a fan of various hide in plain sight solutions.

I didn't see it in their FAQs but I'm hoping they make them without the "SP" logo on them.

When I worked in Silicon Valley in the late 70's I saw several software engineer types who wore their large TI calculators in a black case on their belt. These same folks would fix their glasses with white tape. Pocket protectors were standard.

I do like this case thing for CCW. Nobody will notice.

IMO, they have to dump the labeling. Plain brown wrapper please.

I've been known to wear phones in a belt holster, but the one for the LCP sure doesn't look like it would go unnoticed. I'm thinking people might almost be better making some sort of case that actually holds a phone, but has a "cap" of leather to cover the top of a Kel Tec P3AT or Ruger LCP that's on an IWB clip.

Like a Taurus TCP holster?

Don't know if they still do, but when I bought mine, the TCP's shipped with a holster similar, but made by Bulldog

I've carried mine on my belt uncovered and if noticed, no one said anything...not exactly an answer to your question about the sneaky pete, but of the carry method in general
