watch out for scope eye, when I served I shot an 870 mcs 12ga with 14in barrel that was riged up with an acog halo sight. what a fun gun hits hard on both ends 14in barrel with slugs and 00 buck loved that platform.

...I think the term "sniper" in reference to a gun owned by yourself, is exactly the kinda fuel they are looking for when it comes to grasping at straws to further their agenda.

for all we know that very well could be a rifled barrel shotgun using sabots as a short range precision weapon

while not using target turrets and AO's, magnified scopes are not unheard of in the Turkey Shotgun crowd...im putting a 2x aimpoint on mine next season

Knowing the Israelis penchant for exotic guns it could well be a rifled barrel and fireing a explosive 'shell' for takeing out vehicles.

A while back (15 years ago I'd say?), a bunch of PDs in the US were looking at bolt action 'sniper' slug guns with scopes for breaching doors from a distance.

A few builders actually made 12 gauge bolt slug guns with fiberglass stocks, camo paint, and all the typical sniper rifle add-ons to sell to Police Departments.

It wasn't until AFTER all that they realized they couldn't figure out a practical situation where they would breach a door from 100 yards away, where it couldn't be breached by a guy with a shotgun on the entry team.
