FAIRFAX, Va., 1:32 p.m. EST January 7, 2003 - A Falls Church man pleaded no contest Tuesday in Fairfax, Va., after he was accused of misleading authorities during the October's sniper investigation.

Matthew Dowdy 38, is charged with obstruction of justice. He was sentenced to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
