SNS Hard Cast .44 mag 240gr LSWC are what i got at the moment to work with.
Company told me to keep them under 1,200fps but i will be hopefully shooting for more like 1,100 fps.
My goal is to have a round that has the "dead nuts" accuracy of lightweight target stuff but also has some Magnum authority so I would deer/ hog hunt with it with no question.
WW296 and H-110 are out of the question for this round obviously. 2400 also seems to perform best higher up ranges than Id like to go, although it downloads better than 296.
The 3 other powders i have are Blue Dot, Win 231, and Power pistol. Im thinking maybe an upper end load with a powder of the latter 3? Any suggestions or experiences? Thank you. BTW:
S&W 29-2 8-3/8"
Dan Wesson SS- 744. 6"
