Thinking of a snubbie 22 as a fun thing to practice both carrying and then plinking in my yard. Besides the S&W 317 (seemingly not favored for a variety of reasons in a related thread in this forum), I came across the Taurus 94. Stainless, decent price, so what's not to like? Besides these, are there any other current (or reasonably obtainable but no longer made) 22 snubbies?
Relatedly, some of these (such as the S&W 317) and the Taurus ultralights, come in lighter metals than the blue or stainless steel I'm used to. Wouldn't mind something lighter, but it's not essential to me - especially if the maintenance is a PITA or gun is too light for the trigger pull, etc. OTOH, perhaps practicing with a light gun that has a strong pull is good practice.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts,
John
