I read a bunch of reviews about how bad it leaked and so I was a little nervous about getting it but the guy at the store said if you don't like it bring it back. So I thought nothing to loose.

Well I get it home and set up and secured to the bench, boy am I surprised. Not only is it very accurate but it only leaks if I start tapping on the thing. Other wise mine does not leak. I am quite happy with it so far, it has speed up production quite nicely.
 
Mine leaked when I first got it also. I put a catch pan underneath while I was following the books instructions of running a full hopper of powder through to lubricate the internals with graphite. Once I ran it out of powder I took it apart to wipe off the excess bit between the moving parts. Well I wanted to see the inside too, pretty simple machine. Once it was free of bits and pieces I put it back together and it hasn't leaked since. Keep in mind to not overtorque the screw since it's just nylon and you need the throw to move easily.
 
I've been very inpressed with mine, very accurate and consistant. It only gets better as it wears in. If using a very coarse powder I do hear that the soft plastic/rubber part will wear out in time, but we're talking years, and for $20 bucks you can buy a whole complete unit again. I just doubt anyone would wear out two in a lifetime tho.

I have not had great luck with the accuracy, but... I am aware that Universal Clays is not a great powder for that type of measure. But, I never noticed it leaking or anything.
 
I'm just getting started in reloading and picked up one of these. I tried running a couple hoppers of AA#7 through it and it leaked like a sieve. Talked to the local gun shop and he said it is a very fine powder, so just use a catch tray underneath it.
 
Most of the reviews I read on the thing said it was great other than it leaked. Well I figured it could not leak much more than what I was already spilling so I decided to try it out. Like I said so far the only time it leaks is when I tap on the thing to level out the powder or something. I have only run power pistol and IMR 4064 through it though. It does seem to do the job quite nicely though. And ya for 30.00 bucks if it wears out in a year or two or breaks I can justify another without any problems. I was seriously considering a progressive press set up till I got this. Lots faster than, dip, way, pour, press, and repeat.

They are so good, I bought two. Leave them set for two different loads and powder. I do not know where the "leak" thing comes from? Mine never do and I sat and tested them with a Dillon beam balance scale for several hundred rounds and they never missed a beat. Folks can nay say all they want, but they do work and for the price it's a great deal.

My example leaked more h335 and ww296 than it despensed. I bought a used uniflow with a micrometer stem and then gave the ppm away to someone willing to pay postage.
 
Mine leaked with AA#7 at first. I disassembled it, coated the inside of the drum assembly with graphite, then reassembled it a bit tighter, and no more leaks.
 
I've had mine a little over a year. I load Universal and Clays primarily and get very consistent drops out of it. I tried Blue-Dot and got lots of variation. 700-X did good in larger charges.

I didn't expect much from the unit but I've been pretty impressed so far.

The "destruction's" do say to cycle a full dispenser of powder before using to load.
Where are these "leakers" leaking from??
 
My little Lee leaks a tad with H110, but it's no more than a few granules over the span of reloading 400 grains or so. The action gets a little tight then, too, telling me the fine powder is spread around inside the works and binding a tad. Any of the bigger rifle powders (Varget, IMR4064, 4007ssc, etc), once the fine powder is worked out, lube it up and it works smooth again.

There really should be some Federal law or government regulation against an American company making such good stuff, right here in America, and then turning around and selling it for less than the knock-offs...................
 
I was just about to return my "Perfect" Powder measure. I was bad with SR4756 but REAL bad with H110. It was like a pepper mill with H110. I ran at lease a hopper of SR4756. The graphite in the powder is supposed to coat the inside. Well it didn't. I took it apart and found the rubber wiper inside was still pretty clean. I didn't have any powdered graphite handy so I shaved some pencil lead with a razor blade into a powder. I rubbed it on the wiper so it was completely black. I can now tighten it up enough so no leaks or grinding with H110. True graphite powder would probably work even better.

Word of caution... I found a can of graphite spray at home depot but it contains acetone. Nylon handles acetone okay, but not sure about the rubber wiper and other parts. You may be able to spray the lube in a can, let it dry, then wipe the graphite on.
 
I've found that the leakage is due to powder size & consistency. I use titegroup for my revolvers & it leaks pretty bad. But when I use other powders there's no leakage at all.

So I bought an RCBS Uni-flow to use for titegroup. No leaks & throws a consistent amount.

Mine leaks with the H110 and is not consistant with it it. BUT with the trail boss powder ..no leak and dead on accurate
