....that I still don't have a 6-shot revolver? I have a Smith 638--.38+P, 5 shots. I have a Smith 620--.357 Mag, 7 shots. And I have an Iver Johnson 55SA Cadet--.22lr, 8 shots.

It's terrible.....every time I sock away some money for a nice, normal 6-shot revolver, something happens--either a fantastic deal that I've been looking for forever shows up, or I need reloading supplies, I need to lend my folks some cash, or I have unexpected car repairs, etc ad infinitum.

Does anyone else have this problem in their collection of only having the weird-numbered stuff?

And, would anyone be willing to help out a recently-broke college student (car repair....again) with a nifty donation of a good ol' six-shooter?

Must be a numerology thing :uhoh:

Let's see, you, being Eightball, are in tune to the number 8 (present) + 6 (future) = 14.

Join date 5+3+1+5 = 14

Your posting time is 1+13 = 14.

You are in a state (present) of 14 or 1+4 = 5.

5 is your common use number and you carry 5 (restlessness) with you.

6 (future) - 5 (present) = 1
1 is something you must give in order to receive your future.

To guide you in what you must give, I will attempt to divine further.

Post number 5+3+3+9+4+0+5 = 29.

29 - 6 = 23.

Seriously, if I had a 6 shooter I could give away, I'd give it to ya!
Alas, I am in discord with an uncompleted 6 shooter of my own.
I hope things get better for you and you get a fine 6 shot revolver into your collection.

Maybe you like revolvers that have a prime number of shots.

.... And I have an Iver Johnson 55SA Cadet--.22lr, 8 shots.

There goes that theory. Just go get yourself a nice six shooter.

Sylvan.....that was really frightening, but completely awesome.

But this set of numbers confuses me as to how they got there:
Post number 5+3+3+9+4+0+5 = 29.

29 - 6 = 23.

As for me being "in tune" with the number 14......I guess it doesn't help that after my high school science class, the obvious answer to anything was that the pH levels were trying to "balance out" to 7, but would otherwise add up to "14", so the answer to the universe was 14....... :uhoh:

See this is what college is for... You spend a few years broke, imagining about all of the cool junk you're going to buy when you graduate and get a good job. :)

For what it is worth, I have three "six-shooters". My 637 Airweight holds five rounds. My 686+ holds seven. And my JC Higgins holds ten. Let's see, five plus seven plus ten equals twenty-two. And my JC Higgins is a twenty-two. There must be something to that, but darned if I know what it is.

Cordially, Jack
