So, how much are AKs going for now?

    Let's see... I bought one when Clinton got elected, and re-elected... And I'm feeling the urge for another one...

    It's three years or so since I got my SAR1 - but looking around it seems that a ball park figure these days could be in region of $450.

    Depends too on area tho - as ever.

    SKS's still pretty available tho too - maybe $125 region for a Yugo.

    You can buy the single-stack WASR-10 from www.impactguns.com for $219, when they're in stock.

    They can be converted to take standard AK mags w/ a dremel tool. There are some threads on THR that cover the technical and legal aspects of this (US parts count, etc.)

    $219 for a cheap AK is really hard to beat. I couldn't complain about the quality at all for that price.
