Some of you may remember this thread, where I was looking to get a Python to celebrate my graduation. This has been my dream gun for a while, so I figured it was as good an excuse as any. You guys all encouraged me to go for the gusto and get the Python, and today I picked one up locally.
It was at a pawn shop nearby and I visited it a few times over the past couple of weeks to make sure I looked it over thoroughly. I ended up going just above my spending 'limit' of $1000, but I think it was worth it. It looks like it has never been shot. The only wear is a very, very faint cylinder turn line. No box or papers, but I really don't have any use for them. This gun will be a keeper. As far as I can tell from the research I've done, the gun is perfect with the correct stocks and all. Here are a couple of hastily taken pictures I snapped to show you guys.
Needless to say, I'm very happy with it. It's exactly what I wanted. Now I have to wait til the weekend when I can shoot it!
