The Health Care Reform Bull that is....
Just thought I'd start a thread on what people thought of this reformation?
Personally, I think it's going to be a HUGE hit to the economy, and to the medium/high tax bracket working American. I have my issues with this thing and one of them has always been, that I don't feel it is my duty as an American citizen to pay for health care and financial assistance for those who either wont work, or who don't take responsibility/accountability for their actions and expect the government to bail them out.
My thought (and some will probably disagree) is that if you're on assistance (being general, health, etc.), then you had better be a disabled veteran, or you better be giving something back to the economy like community service instead of catching a free meal ticket. I think it should be required of people to complete community service if they're not going to work and get something for it.
