So it's that time again.... Food Plots!

Driving down to Lawrence today I saw two fresh road kill does in less than 10 miles. This is a twisty two lane country road but this is the time of year they start moving around. Kansass has doe tags for $22.50 each but the "catch" is that you have to buy an Any Deer tag for $42.50 first.
And they still call this "The Free State"...

Well, at least you can get 5 doe tags!

We're still stuck with 1 & 1, and honestly I haven't seen that many around yet. Early doe starts SAT and I'm probably just going to shoot some steel..

Good news is, we're supposed to get rain tonight, cause right now both my plots are sucking.

Yeah, still too warm for me to get excited about deer hunting this weekend.
And I'm still not sure how they decided where that Zone 19 extra tag boundary line needed to be.
You have far more deer up your way than I do down around here.
