An AR 15. I had a friend that was selling his DSA upper with bolt/charging handle for 200 bucks. It has been painted and shot somewhere around 2000 rounds but otherwise in great shape. Then I ordered a blem PSA complete lower from Palmetto State Armory for 146.00 including shipping. Another friend had a forearm and carry handle he was going to get rid of and gave to me for free. So altogether I have 346 bucks in this thing minus mags. I think I did okay.

P.S. I ordered my lower from Palmetto Tuesday around 930 am and it shipped around 4 pm arriving on Friday at 11 am. I can't complain about that.

It is a great shooter, though I will likely need to replace the carry handle as I don't really care for it.

Figured I would give an update on this gun. I had to switch out the carry handle for a magpul MBUS because the carry handle was unable to maintain zero, so with the cost of the magpul sight the total is now 378. I have put somewhere in the vicinity of 350 rounds through it with only one hiccup and that was just after I bought it and didn't lube it.

PSA upper/build kit and Anderson lower. $376:cool: Has functioned flawlessly so far.

These deals are around right now, just look. They won't last long as the pipeline glut is tapering off. Then prices will rise to recover profits lost on dumping excess stock.

The time is now, not next year.

+1
Right now you can build an AR from Palmetto state armory for around 400. One of these days we will be looking back and calling today the good ole days.

Nice work. I did an PSA build with various blem parts from their website for $400 total. I was happy.

I thought I just saw a PSA email this week with a complete parts kit for $299.
