Well I wanted to get a Socom for awhile and finally picked up a Socom II

then I DuraCoated the stock

Then I Bought the Troy MSC II Chassis

Now I need to get it to the range and she how she runs!!!:D
 
How much does the rig weigh? Did the Troy chassis lighten it up any? Nice looking gun BTW thanks for the pics. :)
 
LOL! She's a Big heavy SOB 12.2lbs with empty mag and M3 aimpoint!
I think the Troy is around 2lbs heavier It is ROCK soild NO movement between the upper and lower
like most AR's When your holding it you know your hold a BATTLE RIFLE!!
 
That's no biggie I had an AR10 variant that weighed in at 14 pounds after adding a Troy rail. :eek:
Troy sure makes 'em to last.
 
Holy Crap 14lbs!! I hope you had a good sling!! :)

I need a Front rail sling mount!! So I can run my sling 2 or Single point
