Is there any practical difference between swaged lead bullets and cast bullets made of relatively pure lead such as scrap pipe or sheet?
The application would be light 38 and 45 loads. Most of the information found discusses different bullet alloys when using cast bullets. If a swaged lead bullet with a certain load works fine, should one expect a properly cast soft lead bullet to behave similarly to the swaged bullet?
