I had trouble telling whether those were a pair of 44 Navies or a Navy & an Army both in 44. Your cylinder gaps must be narrower at the top as the flame seemed to go more horizontally rather than radiating evenly. Very cool. Makes me want to try Frontiersman Gunfighter again.
That arc shaped muzzle flash is due to the camera. HD cameras do 1/2 frame at a time. At least that's what I read somewhere. The bottom half of the frame caught the bottom half of the muzzle flash. By the time the top half of the frame triggered the muzzle flash is gone. I don't like it, but it's hard to find a camera nowdays that doesn't film in HD. Sometimes it will get the whole muzzle blast, but usually you either get the top half or the bottom half.
Pulp you are a great photographer. Thanks for posting all these videos. That particular stage was the one my rifle jammed on and gave me at least 5 misses for unfired rounds. It was a cool stage and I would love to shoot it again, now that I think I have my mechanical problems resolved. I will find out this weekend at the Show-Me Shootout. But I will NOT be shooting Gunfighter this week!!
J-Bar, thanks for the compliment. Not too difficult though to turn on the iKam glasses. At least when I remember to turn them on.
I was perusing the scores from Ruckus, you beat me like a dog even with jams etc. And BBM was thumping on both of us pretty good.
I got home and was cleaning my old ASM '60. Put it back together and something wasn't working right, it would only go to half cock, then lock up. Found a broken leg on the bolt. Of course nobody has parts for ASM anymore. I'm thinking of getting a pair of these:
I love my '51, but I think I wanna go with something in .44 caliber. I know I had hits at Ruckus with my '51 that the spotters didn't pick up due to no or very little "CLANG" Especially on the two stages were we moved downrange with the pistols. It wouldn't have mattered one way or the other in the final tally, but it is still kind of aggravating.
