I have the following powders that are about 25 years old. I only load for 9mm and 45 ACP. Can I use these? I don't find data in current reloading books.
Hercules 2400
IMR4320
Winchester 230P

Also I have about 323 Winchester Staynless Large Rifle primers.

If they aren't usable for my handgun reloading, I'll give them away or trade for usable powder.

Thanks.

If the containers haven't been opened, that's a plus.

Degraded powder has a bad smell to it, and can have an orange-colored dust. If so, throw it in the yard, scattered out. Or set it out on a sheet of newspaper and light the edge of the paper. Out in the open, nothing bad will happen.

2400 and 4320 work okay in large pistol (.357 Mag, .45 Colt) and small rifle. Not all that worthwhile in 9mm & .45ACP

I'm not familiar with 230P.

Don't use rifle primers in pistol cartridges.

You will have to scratch around for load data for P230, it is the predecessor to 231 but is not loaded the same. It is suitable for .45 and low end 9mm.
