Alright guys so I was at the lgs and I was looking for something and he had this old gun in the corner so I asked him is it for sale and since I am in their quite a bit he said some punk sold it to me for 50 bucks I said well how about 150 otd he said sure now it ain't in the greatest shape but I think I did well now what the heck did I buy?

You are guilty of aiding and abetting self-cannibalism! A classic Savage 1899 chambered in the classic .300 Savage round for $150 to boot. I am eating my heart out in jealousy and envy.

I got one a few years ago in a trade for a Ruger 10/22 that I only had $130 in! I had picked up an old laminated stock and refinished it so that 22 looked really classy. He actually had a Winchester 94 as well and would of traded either but I chose the 99.
