Bought this one about 2 months ago for my carry piece

Put this on a few days ago

Then, a couple weeks ago I put some cash down on this piece, went it to buy it, was delayed as I thought I would be, then picked it up yesterday finally.

While I was browsing waiting for the transaction to be completed, I saw this guy, told the salesman "Maybe I should get the delay process started on this" and chuckled. He told me that since I was cleared and hadn't left the store I could but this gun with no wait, why not.

Nice pictures of the family, you've got some good looking kids there.

Next gun will be a GLOCK 17 and then a custom built 1911 in .45, pepper in an AR and an 870 and I'll be happy, for then, LOL.

Nice group there, Rat Robb. I like the ones on your wish list too.

Are those LG-305 grips you put on your 442? If so, how does the feel compare with the stock grips? Do you notice a difference (improvement?) in the way it feels with the backstrap being covered? I don't think my hands are particularly large but distance to the trigger is definitely too short with the stock grips for me.

I've been thinking getting a set for my J-frames and have pretty much ruled out the 105 but am looking at the 305 and 405.

hey buddy, which model crimson trace are those on the J frame and how do you like them? I'm curious how the recoil feels with them. I know there's a hard plastic set and then the newer LG-405's that have some soft patting over the upper portion of the backstrap to help with felt recoil. So what can you tell us about those?

Thanks
Gideon

Nice collection. I have a 642 myself....love that gun. I have been drooling over a 686 4", lol. Really have no need for it....just want it.

The grips are LG-305s, feel great but I upgraded my grips almost immediately
(along with a lightened trigger pull) with a Pachmayr Grip cause I have fairly large hands.

Reason for buying the GLOCK is that I dont yet have a 9mm and have always wanted one with the 33-O-****-Clip, lol.

Shot both the SIG and the 686 this weekend and love them both, but my favorite out of the 2 is the 686, its so easy to group.
