First off, admins if you feel the need to move this please do so. It has info on a shotgun as well as some wheelies.

1- New Mossberg 500. I picked up a NIB Mossberg 500 in order to get into trap shooting. Initially the action on this shotgun was very rough. I had some huge reservations about the gun. After 200 rounds of 12gauge the action has really loosend up and I am really enjoying this gun. Now if I could only hit more than 16 birds at a time I would be very happy. Question for shotgun guys, How do you remove the plug for extra rounds in the magazine? I cannot figure it out and the instructions are not very good on this matter.

2- S&W 625JM. I am already in love with this gun. I really like it. The factory moon clips are a pain in the a@@. I have already ordered the Rimz clips and hope they will be better. I will probably need to get a demooner for use when using the factory clips. Fit and finish on my gun were very good. The action seems smooth but I hope it will smooth out some more with use. I only shot about 100 rounds throught the gun so far. I intend to make this my new bedside gun as I don't have to worry about magazines and bullet set back with multiple loadings and unloadings. I also intend to use this gun for steel. What holsters do you recomend for this? Also what moon clip carriers do you all recomend? I will hopefully have a more detailed review after a little more time with the gun.

3- Taurus Tracker .44 mag. Again, A really nice gun. It is suprizing how well this gun shoots. This gun is LOUD. when you start shooting this thing off at the range everything stops. The trigger is excellent. Very smoth although a little heavier than I would like. I guess it will be visting Randy at Apex very soon (along with the 625.). Again, I only have about 100 rounds through the gun. The ports do an outstanding job of taming the recoil. I love the size of this gun. It is perfect for out and about in the country. This gun is a keeper. Altough it will probably not be shot a hole lot. I wish I could find a good source for .44 specials then I would shoot this gun a lot. I guess this is one more reason for reloading :) .

4- Ruger .480. Sold it. I guess that pretty much explains that. The gun is simply more the I want. The recoil is not out of control but it is way more that I want to deal with. The .44 mag will have to suffice for a feild gun.

Welll sorry for the random thoughts. hopefully this is of use or intrest to some of you. I will post some picks as soon as possible. Juan
