I've seen this reported on CNN, all major national and local network news, fairly consistently. I think it is as much fact as we are going to get at this point.

Yep, it does look that way. He probably bought the Dremel tool at Wally World just to try to grind the SN's off.

The guy was a total nut case. So most of what he did is unexplainable. But the thing that concerns me is that he was identified as a social deviant, who had major mental problems. This could have been prevented!! This guy was acting out in so many ways that he should have been noticed and taken off the street. Why do the individual rights of a proven nut, trump the lives of regular folk's until it is too late. That's the real question here not more or less gun control.

Has anybody seen the still photos released by NBC? One pistol is definitely a Glock, but the other is not a Walther in .22lr. It looks like a Walther/S&W 99 in 9mm or 40.

I will be very interested to see the autopsy reports (if they are ever made public).

if the guy WASN'T planning on wacking himself, it makes me wonder if the police did actually get to him and some justice was performed there on the spot.

Like I said, I'll be interested to see what killed the wanker.
