Mini Rant/

Why does every single online store have extended shipping times and delays? They are out of everything, so I am having a hard time figuring out what they are so busy doing since there is not any inventory to sell.

just because they are showing out of stock doesnt mean that they arent still having to pack up the 100 mags that joe bought at the beginning of the panic.
 
They are doing the same thing you or I would be doing.

They are all in the warehouse sweeping spider webs off the storage racks they could never get too before, and eating donuts at break.
And laughing at the phones ringing off the hooks and the email server smoking out in the front of the building!

What would you do if you didn't have anything else to ship, and you were going crazy answering the phones & emails all day at work!!

Go home without pay, or sweep spider webs and eat donuts in the warehouse??

They're hoping that their back orders and rush favors come in in time to satisfy your order under an "extended" time line.
