Something I didn't know about ordering components from Cabela's -

I wanted to place an order for several sizes of primers and some different powders, but was concerned about multiple shipments and hazmat fees. I did an online chat with their customer service about getting the stuff shipped to a local store, received the following replies:

Tena: I apologize for the inconvenience but we cannot ship primers using our in-store pick up service.
Tena: You will only be charged on hazmat fee per order though.
Tena: So if all of the items come in separately, it is still just one hazmat fee. No matter how many different shipments it comes in.

Sounded good to me - went ahead and placed the order, from their guesstimates on backorder times it may be 4 or 5 shipments!

Let us know if it really is just one HazMat fee. That's a lot of HazMat fee's for them to eat.

It worked for me. I got 3 shipments in separate boxes but only paid one fee.

I was told the same, but still on backorder for Fed Small Primers.

Yeah, they've always only charged me one hazmat fee for my orders, even if part of it get shipped at different times. They charge it "per order", not "per delivery". I've always had good service from them, too. A good place to order from.
