I found this nice Model 29 no dash today.

I believe its from 1958. Not a reblue, and in really fantastic shape for its age.

Lets just say that if I sold the coke bottle grips on an auction site, I would probably break even.

:)

Congrats Zombie. Nice looking 29.

I too got lucky recently. I just bought a 29-2, blue, 8 3/8",.....at my local shop. $600 bucks. Exellent condition.

Looks like a 61/2" barrel with original diamond grips. I think Elmer would have been very pleased. What would you take for her?

yep that's a find, the wear is consistent with holstering but not excessive, it has been loved and respected, could have been a zealous troopers duty weapon, it pre-dates Dirty Harry's by quite a few years.

The only wear is barely any at the muzzle that you can see in the first pic. The rest is only reflections. There is no wear on the right side of the barrel or muzzle. Its hard to photograph because of how deep and shiny the blue is. The whole gun has that old, what I call "soft feel" to the bluing.

Hello friends and neighbors // Outstanding,, you are making me want to drive 2 hours on a holiday weekend to rescue one I passed on while traveling through.

// Paying transfer fees just plain takes the fun out of working out a deal.
