I have a copy, and would recommend it.
This is my take, but he seems to favor a KISS approach (see Hick's Law, fewer choices means faster response). So instead of a bunch of complicated moves, he comes up with a simple but elegant approach to drawing and firing that allows flexible approaches without the complexity. His approach addresses extreme close quarter combat, standing and also on the ground.
Based on my limited experience, it appears to succeed in it's goal of being effective without being overly complex. I think it is particularly well suited to CCW.
