FIRST OF ALL I AM NEW TO THIS SO ANY POINTERS WOULD BE NICE.
my question is I have tried to find a place that sells left-handed bolt action receivers, but with no succsess.Can someone help??

I think both Remington and Savage offer left-handed bolt guns. You may have to get a dealer to order one but they are available.

My local Cabelas has a section of left-handed rifles along with another local gun store.

CDNN usually has a few LH rifles.

What are you looking to do with it?

I'm a lefty and for the money you can't beat a Savage. I had a LH 700 Remington for several years and it was nice but it cost a lot more than a comparable LH Savage.

If I ever by another LH bolt action it will be a Savage.

How much do you want to spend? Savage makes a target action you can buy. you can also buy a model 110 and sell off the stock... Or you could order a custom job from any of the people who make actions, most do left handers.

Brownell's sells or did sell LH Dakota rifle actions, cost about two grand. They used to sell 700 actions but I am not sure in LH or not and don't have a current catalog. Some of the custom shops make actions in LH. If your looking to build or have a custom LH bolt rifle built, starting with a complete used rifle isn't a bad route.

B.357;

There's a good choice available, what do you want to do? Tikka makes selected guns in LHB, as do the others mentioned above. CZ makes a couple of the .22 rimfire 452's with left bolts too. CZ also recently released the LHB 527's in .223. I'm hoping to see the 550 come out in the next couple of years.

Or, do you want to build from a bare action? Montana Rifle Company, MRC, produces both LHB Mauser actions and barreled actions. Their actions closely resemble the Winchester model 70 action, as do the Dakotas.

If you don't mind used, there are a couple of versions of the Remington 788 with a left bolt. I do believe they're found in 6mm Remington (a helluva good caliber), and .308. Also, Winchester made the Classic in LHB in quite a few calibers, but expect the price to be substantial. A very few Zastava Mausers were imported under the Charles Daly brand in .223 and .30-06.

Hope this helps. 900F

Still Savage. They sell LH actions only, in long, short, and target actions. Check out Northlander on Savageshooters.
