I see them online for roughly $550. Is the SP101 .22 still so new that the prices will come down in,say, 6 months? or a year? Or is that the right price for a double action .22 from Ruger? Why is it that the SP 101 in .357 that Ruger came out with sporting the same grips, the same sights, and the same barrel length is $50 cheaper?

I believe the prices will settle down some, but will never be much under the $500 mark. The prices have already come down from when they were first introduced, and it is a niche item, not that many people are willing to spend that kind of money on a .22 revolver when you can buy a MKIII for $200 less. I would love to have one myself, but I already have several .22 autos, and a single six.
