I am guessing no one has shot one of these yet, but what are the thoughts on this?

For me, my thought is that it is potentially a real winner. Owning an example of both, I prefer the ergonomics of the SP101 to the GP101. While I have no idea what the SPMC feels like, I have held (though never shot) a GPMC and I felt like it was a big improvement in terms of how the gun felt. Perhaps recoil is translated worse or something though, so what do I know?

Anyway, for as much as I love revolvers I also don't really know that I have enough knowledge about them to really formulate an opinion, so I thought I would ask more knowledgeable people about it!

As an aside, while those Match Champion grips fit a normal old SP101?

I have two SP's, and only because of their sizes (easier to carry/conceal). My GP is MUCH the better gun to shoot, and be accurate with (and have less felt recoil). One chooses what one feels they have a need for. I have large hands, which favors the GP.

I have a GP100 and a sp101, neither of which is a match champion. But I thoroughly enjoy shooting both. I've shot the 2" sp enough, I can almost hit as well with it as the 4" gp.
I would love to have the opportunity to shoot a match champion.
