I weigh in at a big fat 120 lbs and my 3:00 position is really small so my Versa-Max 2 ends up going at my 4:00 or 5:00.

The wide profile of the VM2 prohibits me from moving it around much, as the edges will 'pull' into along my body and if there's a sharp curve, say at my 3:00, it just won't wear right.

Would something with loops closer together like the SS2 work better?

Yes, for the long and lanky I recommend the Executive Companion. BTW, long and lanky is the body style that has the most tactility. Turn sideways in case of income fire or step behind a light pole or parking meter.

El Tejon, I agree. Bullets pass through me before they can expand and do any real damage. :D

Just look at all the advantages of having the tactically correct waist size: you can hide behind a blade of grass, you can turn sideways and disappear, you can crawl under a door without opening it, and transitions from either side are a breeze.:D

Of course, the downside is that Glasers work really well against you.:(

Skunk, no distinctions with any real difference. I prefer the EX's skin tab as I carry without an undershirt in the summer when off-duty, I like the thicker, more secure loops and the EX does not have any wasted horsehide.

As well, I've used both and the EX, to me, seems as if it hugs closer. 6 or one, half dozen of the other.

Well they don't have the SS2, so I ordered the VM2 with double magpouch and belt, all in sharky.

There goes my tax return!
