I saw an ad in the classifieds on another forum for six boxes (300 cases) of "vintage" .44 Special brass. These were reputed to be new, unprimed Remington brass. So, the price was right and I plunked my money down. (Well, mailed off my check.)
I got six boxes of new, unprimed Remington brass that are balloon head cases. The boxes are the old red box with green Remington logo, and are shown made in Bridgeport, CT. Also bear the DuPont logo.
I figure these cases to be over fifty years old. Loaded one box of fifty last week and fired them off thith morning.
How in the world does one keep brass like that without loading it?

P.S. Have no worries about my loading balloon head cases. My first reloads were made with balloon head cases.
